From the La Revenette parking lot (880m), follow the road until the crossroads at the Quatre Chemins  (1119m) and continue in the bottom of the dale in the direction of Lac de Fontaine (1358m). Before arriving at the lake, go to the left over the open slopes, facing SE and you arrive at Bouaz chalet (1550m). Continuing right over the broad scoop of Bouaz and top out on the W ridge  of Bénévent that you follow as far as the summit, reached primarily by the S side of the ridge over the last steep pitch.

Go down the W ridge until the start of the Bouaz corridor which dominates the Darbon chalets and which leaves to the NNW of the crests bordering the upper part of the Bouaz, taken from the ascent. Descend the corridor (S4) until Darbon (1583m). One can also avoid the corridor by descending to the Bouaz pass (1796m -chalet); then take a NW scoop and traverse NE to reach the Darbon chalets.

From Darbon, follow a dale NE to reach Lac de Darbon  (1813m) then Pavis pass (1944m). Go back down the NE slope slightly then to go to the right to go back up to Bise pass (1915m). Traverse the pass and descend to the S to reach the Bise chalets (1502m). Then follow the Bise road, cutting as much as possible the bends and find  Lac de Fontaine and the ascent route is followed in the opposite direction until Revenette.
