Mont St-Jacques - E slope
Peak
Start from the top of the Arpettes chairlift (the Salla chairlift also goes to here). Traverse around the Tête de Arpettes on the south side and continue to the west. Follow the ridge to the top. The entire tour is visible from the Arpettes chairlift, so navigation should not be a problem. Both up and down are easy technically and the slope is even without any difficulties. At the bottom you can join up with the blue slopes below. It is also possible to go more to the right and head down into the trees, this can be ok when not so many people have gone there, otherwise it is not especially good. If you go that way you come down to the bottom of the Arpette chairlift after crossing a road.
